What is Nehborly?
Nehborly is a free-to-play city builder and business tycoon game: a strategy and economic simulation you play in the browser on phone, tablet or computer. It is about running an economy. You start with a small harbor town: a factory, a bakery, a depot and a town hall. You turn grain into flour, flour into bread, and bread into paid deliveries. From there you buy land, build homes, groceries, schools, hospitals and hotels, and become the mayor of a growing city.
Every coin has a job. Bills arrive every financial day, the bank lends against your property, the federal tax comes due on a schedule, and buildings age. Nehborly rewards players who plan, keep a cash cushion and invest in what earns.
What you do
- Produce: run the factory, bakery, restaurant and fishing dock, and keep supplies moving.
- Trade: fill customer orders, sell to the Harbor Supply Exchange and trade with other players.
- Build: buy land and grow neighborhoods with homes, groceries, schools, hospitals, police and parks.
- Manage: pay bills, borrow wisely, stay ahead of the federal tax and renovate buildings as they age.

Nehborly turns business ideas into play: revenue is not profit, debt has to be serviced, taxes grow with your town, and location drives rent. Players learn cash flow, reinvestment and risk by running a city, not by reading about it. A town that grows too fast without reserves can be frozen by the bank; a town that plans ahead keeps growing.
