Nehborly lets you share posts in two main ways:

1. Post to Local Community: Click the “Post” icon or button (usually in the header or main feed). Choose “Local Feed” to share directly with neighbors. This is perfect for local announcements, event invites, or general neighborhood discussions.
2. Post to Groups: If you’re part of a specific Group (e.g., Photography, Hiking, Book Club), you can post to that group’s feed. Just select the group in the dropdown when creating your post.

Tip: Attaching photos, videos, or links boosts engagement. You also earn NHBCoin for likes, comments, or interactions on your posts.

Need advice or local recommendations? Use the Questions section (/qna) to ask about anything—best cafés, plumbers, nightlife, or travel tips.

• Click “Questions” in the side menu (desktop) or mobile footer to open the Q&A feed.
• Ask Anything: Post your question to your local area or a relevant group.
• Answers & Upvotes: Others respond with helpful advice. Popular answers gain visibility, and responders earn NHBCoin.

It’s a great way to crowdsource information and explore new local discoveries.

Match is a swipe-based feature that helps you discover and connect with users who share your interests or live nearby.

1. Go to “Match” in the left sidebar (desktop) or mobile menu to see a deck of user profiles.
2. Swipe Right or Left: Right indicates you want to connect; left is a pass. If both parties swipe right, you become “Nehbors.”
3. Requests & Matches: Check “Requests” to see if someone swiped right on you first. Once approved, you can chat or plan local meetups.

It’s a fun way to find new friends or professional contacts in your area.

A complete profile helps others get to know you and fosters trust.

• Click “Profile” in the sidebar to view/edit your public details.
• Upload an Avatar: Select or change your picture by clicking on the round profile photo. Friendly photos get more engagement.
• Update Neighborhood: If you move or want to explore another region’s feed, change your location under “Update Neighborhood.”
• Interests: Click “Update Interests” to select or edit hobbies and skills. This improves your matching and group suggestions.

Groups are mini-communities for shared interests, local causes, or activities.

1. Find Groups: Click “Groups” → “All Groups” to see existing communities. Filter by categories (sports, art, etc.).
2. Join or Request to Join: Open groups are free to join; others require approval from the owner.
3. Create Your Own Club: If no one has started a group for your passion, hit “Create Club,” name it, pick a category, and invite others.
4. Group Monetization: Owners can charge NHBCoin for ads or events, earning revenue while keeping the group focused and ad-free.

Nehborly supports local commerce in an ad-free environment.

• List Your Business: Go to “Businesses” → “List Your Business.” Provide a name, description, location, and optional details like hours or menu.
• Discover Local Services: Choose “Find Local Businesses” to search for hair salons, restaurants, freelancers, etc., prioritized by community ratings.
• My Businesses: Edit or promote your listings. You can also run live sales or special promotions for local customers.
