Over time, we aim to be community-owned, so everyone can hold a piece of this evolving ecosystem. Our mission is simple: “Build a people-first social network—free from intrusive ads, powered by real value, and owned by its users.” We want a space where local communities can flourish, people can easily form clubs (groups) around their interests, and everyday interactions are rewarded rather than exploited.

Our long-term vision? To see Nehborly grow into the “social network and currency of the people”. Over time, we’ll open-source the platform, let users govern major decisions, and keep expanding the ways NHBCoin can be spent or exchanged—so your online life directly contributes to building real-world value.

Our Story

My journey started with a friend’s idea to build a small community app for people in Dubai. Intrigued, I quickly saw its potential on a global scale. While my friend eventually stepped back, I stayed up coding for 20 hours a day for months, determined to create a platform that truly transforms how people interact.

The result is Nehborly.com: a fusion of local discovery, social networking, and cryptocurrency rewards. Even if you’re not crypto-savvy, we handle the technical complexities behind the scenes. You just sign up and earn NHBCoin by posting, chatting, and connecting—like any social network, but with actual shared value.

• Create Events or see what's happening nearby—your next door dog-walker meetup, coffee hangout, or flash sale
• Swipe & Connect with like-minded people for friendships, dates, or collaborations
• Advertise Responsibly by listing real “events” in relevant clubs, rather than force-feeding ads

Each interaction—like posting, commenting, or running our node software—earns you NHBCoin. Eventually, you can withdraw or exchange NHBCoin via our upcoming CEX/DEX, or simply spend it in-app to pay for goods, services, or club events.

Why NHBCoin?

NHBCoin is our built-in social currency—think of it like a simpler crypto that just works. We plan to back it financially on our own exchanges so it retains tangible value. You earn it through normal social actions or by running our Windows/Linux bash node (no pricey equipment required).

Challenges & Solutions

Building a user-owned, reward-centric platform has its hurdles:

• Landlord Elections: The first person in each neighborhood becomes “landlord.” If someone else wants the role, they can trigger an election by rallying local support. It’s a fun, grassroots method to keep leadership accountable.
• Open-Source Transparency: We’ll open the codebase so community developers can refine features and ensure the project always evolves with user-driven innovation.

Our 10/10 Strategy

Competing with big social apps requires a user-centric blueprint:
